Health & Safety
Health & Safety Is Our Non-Negotiable Priority
The safety and physical wellbeing of our people form the bedrock of our operations. We do not merely enforce regulations; our efforts go far beyond them to ensure our people go home safely at the end of their working day.
We operate on the principle that all work-related incidents are preventable. Across every yard, laboratory and processing facility worldwide, health and safety management is integrated into every operational decision to foster a proactive zero-harm safety culture. Aperam’s 10 Lifesaving Rules were carefully crafted to raise awareness of hazards and prevent accidents across our global facilities.
In addition to regular safety meetings and training, each year we dedicate one full day to safety during our Health and Safety Month.
Beyond physical site safety, Aperam Recycling provides comprehensive wellbeing support, ergonomic workplace standards, and physical and mental health awareness programs tailored to support our workforce in their daily physical and technical operations.
